23-year-old lightning-fast forward reportedly revealed interest from Liverpool

Gent pacy winger Moses Simon has confirmed that Liverpool are keen on signing him but revealed that there has been no concrete offer from the Reds so far this summer.

The 23-year-old star was reported to be a target for the Reds last month, and when questioned by AOI Football about Reds’ interest in him, the Nigerian star revealed that there was substance to the report but hinted that there had been no offer made.

He said: “Well, for now, I’m still a player of KAA Gent; obviously, there was interest from Liverpool, but nothing is concrete for now.”

The 23-year-old star has netted 21 goals in 136 games for the Belgian club and would likely have been included in his country’s World Cup squad had he not been injured.

A few clubs have been connected with a move for the attacker in the recent past, but Moses said that he’s focussing on getting prepared for the new season with De Buffalo’s and he’ll continue to just that until something changes.
