Arsene Wenger confirmed that Arsenal are in talks with Scottish giants Rangers over agreeing a loan deal for highly-rated Gunners starlet Jon Toral.
Arsene Wenger seems to be unhappy with Toral’s lack of playing time at La Liga outsiders Granada where 21-year-old midfielder managed to make only six appearances, especially after Toral had a successful season-long spell with Birmingham in the last campaign where the 21-year-old scored eight times in 36 appearances and being dubbed as Gunners one of the best talents.
The Gunners have sent the likes of Kyle Bartley and Gedion Zelalem to Rangers in the past and Wenger says‘We work on it to see if it is possible, yes,’ said Wenger.
Asked whether the move to Mark Warburton’s side would benefit Toral, Wenger replied: ‘Yes,because he has played games there [for Granada] but at the moment he doesn’t play and personally I think it would be a good transition for him.’
The 21-year-old midfielder has been one of the brightest prospects at Arsenal’s youth academy and first-team minutes is important for his progress.
