Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno is a summer goal for AS Monaco, according to reports.
Spain international has been forced out of the starting eleven in recent months as Andy Robertson has performed unusually well for German manager Jurgen Klopp’s side at left-back.
Alberto had enjoyed a brief run of games for Liverpool but has been displaced by Scotland international Andy Robertson since then.
This looks like to have prompted reports linking Alberto with a transfer away from Anfield upcoming summer and it is stated that Ligue 1 giants Monaco are planning a swoop for the defender.
Moreno came close to departing from Liverpool last summer, with clubs such as Serie A sides Napoli and EPL sides Watford having been linked. After all, Jurgen Klopp kept his services and made use of him in the starting eleven for some time.
Leonardo Jardim’s side have not adequately substituted Benjamin Mendy following his big-money switch to Premier League giants Manchester City last summer. It looks like they have identified his substitution in the form of Alberto Moreno, with a summer bid evidently an option.
