Chelsea left midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies is set to secure a switch to Liverpool in the near future, according to claims from sports TV channel ESPN.
The 20-year-old Englishman was not offered a new deal by Chelsea and their the Premier League rivals Liverpool swooped in earlier this year to offer Isaac a trial ahead of other interested teams.
It looks like he impressed the coaching staff at Liverpool while on trial as the club look set to offer him a deal.
Isaac becomes the second young player, after Liverpool forward Dominic Solanke, to join the Reds from the Blues in just two years. Although Dominic went into the Reds senior-team, it appears as though Isaac will join up with the academy team.
Also, the Anfield side was required to pay a sum for Solanke as he was offered a contract at Chelsea, but they’ll get Christie-Davies for free as he was not offered a deal with the London club.
The left midfielder is set to tie up a deal to become the Reds player in the coming days if reports are believed.
