Chelsea £200,000-a-week star targeted by EPL rivals

The Premier League giants Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is looking to break the bank once again this summer as Spaniard looks to build a side at The Citizens that can not only exercise control over the Premier League but the Champions League as well.

According to an article from James Ducker of the British daily broadsheet newspaper The Telegraph, Pep Guardiola is looking to land a defensive midfielder, a winger and a centre-half.

His goals range from Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred to Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl, but the one player he wants more than any other is The Blues’ the 27-year-old Eden Hazard.

Guardiola evidently sees the Belgian as his ‘wonder’ signing and if Chelsea FC do decide to cash in on Eden, Manchester City will be interested in landing him.

Chelsea join UCL giants in hunt for €90m-rated star

Chelsea FC have entered the hunt to sign German and UCL giants Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski this summer, according to an article from Polish outlet Przeglad Sportowy, as interpreted by the team Sport Witness.

The report claims that Lewandowski made contact with super agent Pini Zahavi earlier this year and Jewish will now be representing the Polish star.

Pini has been tasked with seeking any potentially interested teams, of which there are likely many, and report back to the forward.

Przeglad Sportowy say that of all the possible clubs for the striker, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea FC and Real Madrid are the three that want Robert most.

After all, Bayern Munich will still need to be tempted to let him go and even if the management does decide to sell up, Robert Lewandowski looks all but sure to be heading to Madrid as they want the star and he is keen to make a move to the reigning Champions League champions.

The current season, in all competitions, The Polish international has made 41 appearances, netted 36 goals and provided 4 assists so far.

EPL rivals in battle with Chelsea for £31.5m-rated star

It was reported earlier current week that Chelsea had been in contact with French sides Nice about the possibility of landing midfielder Jean Michael Seri upcoming summer transfer window, but the Blues will now have a competitor for his signature.

According to an article from James Tucker of the British daily broadsheet newspaper Telegraph, Manchester City are also keen to land the Ivorian international as Pep Guardiola looks to bolster his squad yet again.

The 26-year-old came near to joining Barcelona previous summer but the deal fell through and with Barcelona seemingly not interested in Jean Michael Seri anymore, Manchester City and Chelsea could have a direct battle for him.

After all, that depends on the intentions of another the Premier League giants Manchester United as they have also been connected with a summer move for the box-to-box midfielder.

Chelsea’s summer actions of finding new top quality players did not go as well as they’d have wished so they’ll be looking to do much better upcoming summer and the arrival of Jean Michael Seri would be a good starting point.
