Chelsea ready to reignite interest in EPL €60,000-a-week star

The Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly prepared to reignite their interest in Stoke City’s shot-stopper Jack Butland.

The Daily Mail states that there are growing concerns over the future of Thibaut Courtois at the Blues, prompting the club to plan for a substitution.

La Lig giants Real Madrid continue to be connected with a move for the Belgium international, who is out of contract in one year time.

Thibaut has long talked up a go back to Spain and there is a growing expectancy at the Blues that he could leave this transfer market.

Butland has been a long-time target for the Blues and has been a player the club’s management have tracked over a number of years.

Liverpool have also registered an interest in Butland in the latest weeks, with the Reds set to enter the transfer market for a new ‘keeper this summer. Both sides are also keen on the Serie A giants Roma’s Alisson, but Jack would be seen as the cheaper option.

England international is widely expected to depart from the club this summer following the Potters’ relegation to the Championship.
