Chelsea FC still remain keen on a move for Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri, according to reports in Italian media.
The impressive manager has helped his side rival at the very top of Serie A this campaign and has continued to make an impression a host of clubs across the continent.
Partenopei are keen to tie down Maurizio to an extended contract at the Stadio San Paolo but it looks like talks have stalled in the latest times.
According to Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, as quoted by Football Italia, Maurizio Sarri will meet Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis after the team’s clash with The Old Lady later this month to stage more speculations over his future.
It’s also stated that Chelsea FC have been closely following Maurizio’s situation at Napoli since January, showing that they are surely intent on exploring the possibility of appointing Maurizio this summer.
Another Italian tactician Antonio Conte’s departure from Chelsea FC is not yet a certainty, but it looks like more than likely that the Italian will be substituted at the end of the campaign.
