Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is reportedly closing in on a deal to Everton as he is set to pass the medical in next 48 hours.
The 27-year-old french midfielder is desperate to return his career back on tracks and switch to Merseyside Blues could help him to have a fresh start in the English top-tier.
Frenchman has already worked with Koeman at Southampton and their relationship could help Man United out-of-favour midfielder to enjoy life at Everton.
Schneiderlin has joined the Red Devils 18 months ago for £25million, however, underwhelmed during his debut season under Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal.
The Red Devils have rejected one bid from West Brom for the midfielder already this month and Mourinho warned potential suitors that the club wanted to recoup much of what they paid Southampton in 2015.
Merseyside Blues manager Ronald Koeman managed Schneiderlin on the south coast and, according to the Manchester Evening News, the midfielder is on Merseyside to have his medical with the Toffees.
The two clubs are yet to agree a fee for the midfielder, however, Schneiderlin set to pass medical in the next 48 hours.
