Premier league giants Liverpool have received a transfer boost in their chase for Inter Milan out-of-favour star Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to reports from Italy.
The 23-year-pld French Star has moved from Monaco to Inter back in the summer of 2015 for reported fee of €40.5m, but has struggled for game-time at under Frank De Boer and considering to leave Italian giants during the januayr transfer window.
Last month Goal reported taht Liverpool could try and sign French midfielder from Inter.
And now the Fench midfielder has dropped the strongest hint that a move may be on the cards. He told L’Equipe:
“This is the hardest moment of my career. I’m a footballer and I want to play”
“If things do not change from this point of view then I will think about a transfer.”
However, Arsenal also showed an interest in Kondogbia before he decided to move to Italy last year and Arsene Wenger was even believed to have held discussions with him over a potential move to north London and Liverpool will face a stiff competition from Liverpool.
