Liverpool central midfielder Emre Can has been offered contracts by both Bayern Munich and Juventus and ahead of a summer transfer, according to reports from Italian media.
Germany international will see out the remainder of his deal with the Reds and will move on at the end of the campaign. Emre has been at Liverpool since 2014 but is not set to sign the contract extension with the club.
Emre Can has been at the forefront of a lot of speculation in the latest months and it looked like almost certain that the powerful midfielder would secure a move to Italian giants Juventus.
After all, it’s now stated that the ball is in Emre’s court, with both Juventus and Bundesliga sides Bayern Munich having offered the 24-year-old a deal.
Can is currently ruled out with an injury and may well have played his last ever match in a Liverpool jersey. The one-time Bayer Leverkusen man could miss the remainder of the campaign with a knock.
This season, in all competitions, Emre Can has made 37 appearances, netted 6 goals and provided 5 assists so far.
