Sadio Mane connected with a move to the Spanish giants Real Madrid a few weeks ago but the 26-year-old star has told Salzburger Nachrichten that he has no intentions to depart from the club as Mane wants to honour his contract, which expires in 2021.

Senegal international pacy winger said: “I am very happy in Liverpool and my contract will last for three more years.”

Although Mane did add the warning that he wants to start winning titles in the near future, something Liverpool haven’t been able to do under German coach Jurgen Klopp.

“You never know what will happen in the future. I want to win trophies, especially the Champions League.”

Sadio is about to play in the World Cup, where forward will be Senegal’s key man as they look to get out of a tight group and his focus will be only on his national team.

But when Sadio returns, he’ll be doing all he can to help the Reds finally win some silverware under Jurgen Klopp.
