Liverpool face stiff rivalry from Premier League for Englishman

Liverpool are set to face tough competition from their the EPL rivals Manchester United for the landing of Nottingham Forest youngster Matthew Bondswell upcoming summer, according to sports TV channel ESPN.

The full-back has been in good form for the club’s Under-18s current season and has also prospered on the international arena, playing an important role for England at youth rank.

Nottingham Forest are interested in keeping Matthew Bondswell among their ranks but have struggled to agree on a professional contract with the exciting young left-back.

As a result, the Reds and Manchester United are both claimed to be keen on moving for the player and feel that the club can get respective deals over the line.

The Anfield side will feel that they have the upper hand over the Red Devils in their pursuit of Matthew, due to the fact that defender was a fan of the club when he was growing up.

With Bondswell being just 16-years-old, it looks like that he would move into the Under-18 team for the Reds if he does indeed make the huge switch.
