The Premier League giants Liverpool have joined the hunt for La Liga giants Valencia promising young talent Ferhat Cogalan.
The starlet is one of the jewels in the Spanish side’s academy and it is believed that the Reds are ready to move for the attacking midfielder, but Liverpool will have to fend off other rivalries if they are looking to secure Ferhat’s signature.
According to Sport Witness, the Spanish daily sports newspaper Sport say the French-born Turkish playmaker has drawn interest from other European sides.
The Catalan newspaper says Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester United are in the hunt for Ferhat and are said to have ‘knocked on the door’.
Blaugrana have been in pursuit of the youngster for more than two years but Sport states that Bayern Munich are in pole position for Cogalan, having already plotted bid for the midfielder.
But Valencia are intended to keep Ferhat in Spain and are aware of the increasing interest from other teams.
Liverpool will have to evaluate the situation and may have to pull out all the cards to tempt the talented youngster to move to Anfield.
