Liverpool Set to Hijack Man United Move For Prolific Striker

Liverpool are in talks with Nottingham Forest rising star Ben Brereton ahead of a potential move in January.

Brereton has been in stunning form this term scoring 15-goals in 20 appearances for Forest’s U-23 team and his insane performance hasn’t been unnoticed as Liverpool and Man United are ready to battle for his signature.

Mirror reported that Manchester United have been favorites for the 17-year-old striker, however, now Liverpool have joined the race for the promising striker.

Klopp revealed that he could make changed during the January transfer window and Brereton, among others, are being watched by the Merseyside giants.

Ahead of January, Klopp said: ‘In winter, if you don’t have the biggest injury issues in the world and you need players to build a lineup, then you should only do things you would do in the summer too.

‘Otherwise you solve a problem for half a year then have another one in the summer.

‘We always have an eye on the market, always, but it doesn’t mean we can do what we want.’
