Liverpool to land out-of-favour European giants midfielder

The Premier League and UCL giants Liverpool are set to land their EPL rivals Chelsea left midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies on a free transfer after Englishman was released by the Blues, sources close to the Anfield side have told U.S.-based sports TV channel ESPN.

The 20-year-old technically gifted Christie-Davies was not offered a new contract by Chelsea, with his present-day terms expiring in the summer, and several teams have been closely monitoring his situation.

The Reds took Isaac Christie-Davies on trial in March and it comes into sight he has done enough to win a switch to Anfield outfit.

Isaac joined Chelsea’s academy from the English side Brighton & Hove Albion and progressed from the youth levels to the under-23s, winning the FA Youth Cup back in 2015 and 2016 and the UEFA Youth League in 2016.

Christie-Davies is possible to link up with the Reds’ under-23s next campaign, following one-time The Blues teammate England U21 international Dominic Solanke in leaving the Blues for Merseyside.

The current season, in all competitions (Premier League 2, EFL Trophy), Isaac Christie-Davies has made 19 appearances, netted 1 goal and provided 2 assists.
