The Premier League giants Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is lining up a £35m summer move for a Leicester City central defender, according to reports in British media.
British national daily tabloid newspaper The Daily Mirror states that Jose Mourinho views Harry Maguire as the perfect replacement for Chris Smalling and is prepared to make a summer move.
The 25-year-old centre-back made his first senior England match in October and could be set for a beginning berth at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has spent over £300m on new quality players since arriving at Old Trafford but said after the defeat to West Brom Albion: “We are not going to spend more than we can. We are not going to do anything crazy.
“We are just trying to improve a little bit more, to keep the sequence of it.”
Harry joined Leicester City in a £17million deal previous summer from English sides Hull City.
This season, in all competitions, (Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup) Harry Maguire has made 39 appearances, netted 2 goals and provided 3 assists.
