Man United suffer big blow in their pursuit of £80,000-a-week star

The Premier League giants Manchester United long-time target Mario Mandzukic is prepared to stay at Juventus in spite of interest from the Premier League this summer.

Croatian striker still has two years left to run on his the Old Lady contract, but Mario has been considering his future at the club throughout the ongoing window.

A versatile striker, who can play across the forward line, has been on the radar of a host of clubs and there were suggestions that he could decide to depart from Juventus.

Manchester United Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has been an admirer and the club have been reportedly planning to take him to England this transfer market to add more experience to their attack.

However, it looks like interest from the Premier League sides is unlikely to deter Mario Mandzukic, as according to the Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, he has decided to stay at Bianconeri.

With Italian tactician Massimiliano Allegri certain to continue as Juventus boss, Croatia international star has also decided to continue at the Italian giants despite interest from elite clubs.
