Manchester City Desperate to Sign Arsenal No.10 In January

Earlier today Daily Mirror reported that Manchester City have contacted Arsenal about the availability of 25-year-old midfielder Jack Wilshere who is currently having a successful loan spell with Bournemouth.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman who looks to improve his struggling midfield during the transfer window has been also linked with a move for Arsenal star, however, after agreeing on a deal for Morgan Schneiderlin it seems that Man City are clear favorites to sign Gunners ace.

Man City head coach Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer of 25-year-old Arsenal star and have made a contact with the club over a potential deal for England international midfielder.

Wilshere moved to Bournemouth on a season-long loan from Arsenal last summer after he was deemed surplus to requirement at the north London club following the arrival of Granit Xhaka in a £33m deal from Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 25-year-old has been crucial for Eddie Howe’s side where he made around 15 appearences for the Cherries and his fine form has been the main reason why Guardiola wants him at Etihad Stadium.
