According to Don Balon reports, Bundesliga defending champions Bayern Munich midfield star Arturo Vidal has been linked with a January move to Chelsea.
Antonio Conte and Vidal have enjoyed a successful year in Serie A helping Juventus to dominate in the Italian League and the Copa America Winner has been thought to being reunited with him at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are on the brink to lose their midfield duo Oscar and Jon Obi Mikel during the January transfer window and signing a quality replacement would be a priority for Italian manager and he probably will look to bring 29-year-old midfielder at Stamford Bridge and ready to offer around £42m for his signature.
The transfer could be on the cards as Vidal himself has been a huge admirer of Antonio Conte and previously claimed that he would go in the war with him.
“if I go to war I would take Conte with me. ” said Vidal on his former manager.
The Vidal’s transfer to Stamford Bridge looks like to be just a rumours, however, it is the story that could happen in january if Conte decided to strengthen midfielder are to push his side to the Premier League victory.
