Arsenal starlet Stephy Mavididi returns to Charlton Athletic on loan.
Arsenal striker has made his loan deal to Charlton Athletic, the teams have accepted.
The Gunners took the choice to end Mavididi’s loan spell at Championship team Preston North End, where the 19-year-old was restricted to just three games during a season where he also proposed with an injury.
“I am looking forth to working with Stephy again,” Charlton coach Karl Robinson told the teams’ official website. “He is such a gifted footballer and we only got to see a sight of what he could do last time he was here.
“I’ve seen him a lot since he’s arrived back from damage and he is a unique talent. I don’t think it is any mystery that we wanted to take him in over the summer.
“The supporters will have seen how fast, powerful and skillful he is from his first time with us. He is a Championship caliber player already and he arrives to Charlton now with a case to determine.”
Mavididi has never performed for the Arsenal senior squad since signing a professional deal with the team in July 2015, but has been a regular for a line of England youth teams from a tender age.
Though of Congolese international, Mavidid has represented the Three Lions at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 level during his work and is highly considered of in the game.
