Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in Lens centre-half Loic Bade, with Calciomercato reporting that they’re battling the likes of Sevilla and AC Milan for the 21-year-old.
The north Londoners look to be well-stocked for options at the back. However, there is a question mark hanging regarding David Luiz’s future at the club.
CBS Sports claimed that Luiz’s representatives were reaching out to possible admirers with his contract set to expire in the summer.
Mikel Arteta does have the likes of Konstantinos Mavropanos and William Saliba set to return from loan spells, but it appears that Arsenal are eyeing further additions in that zone of the field.
According to Calciomercato, the Gunners want Bade from Lens. Meantime, it is claimed that Rennes, Sevilla and Milan are also keen on the youngster.
Calciomercato notes that Loic has been compared with Raphael Varane, who left the French club for Real Madrid a decade ago. So it could surely prove to be an exciting move for Mikel Arteta’s side to bring him to the Emirates.
He has made 28 Ligue 1 matches for high-flying Lens this year. The team are in contention for a play-off spot for next season’s Europa League.
