The London giants are reportedly interested in a possible transfer deal for Juventus forward Dejan Kulusevski, with Nicolas Pepe possibly on offer to the Bianconeri in an exchange deal. However, it looks the Old Lady are not keen on signing the Gunners flop Nicolas Pepe and just want cash for Sweden international.
Arsenal could certainly do with replacing the Ivorian as soon as possible, with the attacker proving a major flop since his big move from Lille in 2019. Both north London teams would love to sign the attacker. Indeed, Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici knows the footballer well from his time in Italy.
Dejan could make sense as an upgrade after showing great promise earlier in his career, though the Swedish forward has also struggled for form lately as he’s not made much of an impact with the Old Lady.
Still, the bigger challenge for the Gunners is in offloading Nicolas Pepe, with Juventus unlikely to be the only club that aren’t willing to take a gamble on the 26-year-old. The Italian club may well be willing to offload Dejan, but Arsenal will have to come up with a more tempting offer to lure Kulusevski to the London club.
