Arsenal in the hunt to sign 27-year-old Serie A centre-back

Milan Skriniar has made a name for himself since his move to the Italian club and Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are looking to sign the defender in the coming months. Slovakia international will be a free agent at the end of this campaign and Inter Milan are hoping to tie him down to a deal extension.

However, the two sides have not been able to finalise an agreement yet. Three PL teams are huge admirers of the Slovakian centre-back and it remains to be seen whether they can take advantage of his deal situation and sign him on a bargain.

The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool could sign Skriniar for a knockdown price in January or wait until the end of the season and sign him on a free transfer. That said, there will be more competition for his services at that time.

Milan will be able to negotiate pre-contract agreements with foreign teams when the winter transfer window opens and it will be interesting to see if the PL teams start laying down the groundwork of a potential transfer.

The Slovakian centre-back has proven himself in Italy and the opportunity to move to the PL could be a tempting proposition for him next year. The Gunners could certainly use an upgrade on Gabriel Magalhaes and Milan Skriniar would be a quality addition. Skriniar is at the peak of his powers and he could transform Arsenal at the back.
