Arsenal in the hunt to sign €65m-rated Bundesliga playmaker

The London giants are reportedly chasing an ambitious transfer deal for in-demand Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Florian Wirtz. Germany international has been making waves in the Bundesliga for a while now and is fast becoming regarded as one of the most talented prospects in the game.

Florian is now being strongly pursued by PL giants Chelsea, Man City, Man United and Liverpool, though Bayern Munich are thought to be in the strongest position for his signature.

Still, a report states that the Gunners are also working on trying to win the race for Florian’s signature in an ambitious potential move that could cost more than £40m. The German playmaker could be a great fit at Emirates right now, with the Spanish boss in need of a long-term Ozil replacement in that attacking midfield department.

The 18-year-old playmaker seems like he could have similar qualities to his fellow countryman Mesut Ozil, and supporters would love to see a playmaker like that at the London club again. Since time began Germany has been pumping out world-class players.

It’s for that reason that they have managed to stay competitive on the international stage consistently down the years. The German playmaker looks destined for stardom, and unsurprisingly, he has plenty of potential suitors from the PL.
