Arsenal are getting ready to bring in a new shot-stopper in this summer transfer market and have their eyes set on German sides VFL Wolfsburg ‘keeper Koen Casteels this summer.
According to the latest reports, the Gunners are looking to secure the services of the Belgian star when the transfer window reopens.
The north London club has been left frustrated by some of the costly errors made by their goalkeepers Petr Cech and David Ospina throughout the course of this season.
For this reason, it should not come as a shock that the club would want to address some of their goalkeeping troubles by bringing in fresh legs between the sticks in the summer.
Koen joined VFL Wolfsburg from the German club Werder Bremen in the summer of 2015 and has confirmed himself as the number one shot-stopper at the Volkswagen Arena.
The Belgian player has been a rock at the back for the Bundesliga side and has put in a host of outstanding performances for the VFL Wolfsburg this season.
He has featured in 37 games for the Wolves, allowing in just 49 goals while collecting 10 clean sheets in all competitions.
