Arsenal interested in signing No.9 Premier League centre-forward

The London giants are reportedly interested in a possible transfer deal for Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette. Arsenal look in need of making some changes upfront at the moment, with the Frenchman nearing the end of his deal, and with Aubameyang’s form also a real concern.

England international has shone at Everton and it looks the Gunners are now making the £60m-rated striker a top target. The Gunners could have some luck in persuading the Toffees to let their star player go, with coach Rafael Benitez as suggesting there may need to be sales before additions.

Arsenal supporters might well be hoping for a bigger name than Dominic, though the striker is a very decent player who is still young enough to improve further. The report have also recently linked Arsenal with Fiorentina front-man Dusan Vlahovic, and he’s perhaps a more exciting name than Dominic, though perhaps a less realistic target.

The Spanish manager could probably have done with an upgrade on Granit Xhaka in that area of the pitch, while Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi probably don’t have much of a long-term future at Arsenal after going out on loan again this campaign.
