The La Liga side Valencia have submitted an official offer of €50 million for the French giants Paris Saint-Germain the Portuguese starlet Goncalo Guedes, according to the latest report in the Spanish media.
The Valencia-based radio station Radio Esport Valencia leaked the news of the offer for a star who enjoyed an impressive loan spell with the club the previous season.
The technically gifted winger had a disappointing World Cup campaign with his country, but that has not deterred the Spanish club, who are keen to secure Goncalo Guedes’ permanent signature.
It is believed that Premier League duo Arsenal and Manchester United have both been chasing the 21-year-old exciting ace for January transfer window, but a move to the La Liga side looks increasingly likely.
The north London club enquired about the pacy winger’s availability, but it was Goncalo Guedes who turned down that approach from Unai Emery’s side as he has his heart set on a switch to Valencia.
Guedes has done the remarkable job at Los Murcielagos (season-long loan), in all competitions (LaLiga, Copa del Rey), Goncalo made 38 appearances, netted 6 goals and provided 11 assists.
