The London-based giants Arsenal are reportedly in the hunt to land Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain central midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to the latest reports report.
Rabiot was widely expected to from Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer market, having refused to sign a new contract with the French giants.
The 23-year-old star ultimately remained in Paris beyond the winter deadline, but his deal will expire this summer window and a number of clubs have been connected with a move.
According to a British tabloid newspaper The Daily Mirror, Arsenal manager Unai Emery is a huge fan of Adrien, having worked with the Frenchman during his time in charge of Paris Sain-Germain.
The report states that the Gunners are keeping tabs on the situation and are hopeful of beating the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur to the Frenchman’s signature this summer.
Adrien, who famously refused to be on his country’s standby list for the 2018 World Cup, has made 20 appearances in all competitions for the Parisians this season but has not featured for the club since the turn of the year.
