Arsenal and Chelsea target Manuel Locatelli could be available for €35m in January. Juventus are keen on bringing Jorginho back to Serie A and may sacrifice the 24-year-old midfielder, with PL teams interested in the footballer. Manuel’s long-term future at Bianconeri has come under question once again.
Locatelli has been inconsistent this campaign, and Massimiliano Allegri feels there is a stylistic mismatch with the midfielder. The Old Lady will look to explore ideas in the market and could dispense off with the Italian midfielder in January.
The 24-year-old midfielder has impressed in periods this term, but Allegri is seeking more from a footballer in his position. Juventus have been keen on bringing Jorginho back to Serie A for quite some time now and might make a move in winter. Jorginho has already rejected a new deal at Chelsea, paving the way for a winter departure.
Arsenal and Chelsea are among the teams keen on the Italian. In the summer of 2021, Arsenal pushed hard to get him, but the Italian chose Juventus. Manuel can play in multiple positions in midfield, but most important of all, he can cover the holding role.
That is an area in which the Gunners currently do not have competition, with Partey effectively their only option. The African midfielder has been tremendous in understanding the role under the Spanish manager, but there is a real need for competition. The Gunners could plot a January move for Manuel Locatelli, depending on his availability.
