Arsenal striker is willing to join Serie A giants

Arsenal striker Theo Walcott desires to sign for AC Milan.

Corriere Dello Sport insists the 28-year-old has offered himself to Milan for a January transfer.

Walcott is dealt with Arsenal till June 2019, but his game experience has been limited this term.

He has made just five substitute games in the Premier League and has lately been linked with moves to several teams.

Walcott is interested to try and recover his place in the England team for the World Cup in Russia.

He hasn’t performed for the national squad since playing in a 2-2 draw with Spain behind in 2016 and it looks unlikely he’ll come into coach Gareth Southgate’s thought this summer.

Southampton were considered to be favourites to sign Walcott, although their current form in the Premier League is making it hard to bring players to St Mary’s.

West Ham United, Everton and Newcastle United are also involved in taking Walcott on loan for the rest of the term, but it seems he fancies taking his career in a new way.

Milan are currently 11th in Serie A, 23 points back leaders Napoli.
