Sky Italia have kicked up something of a fuss with a claim Arsenal want to sign Mehdi Benatia from Juventus.

Arsenal offer defined as a ‘monster’ one, big bucks are ‘ready’ for January signing. As per the reports, the Londoners are willing to buy purchase Moroccan defender.

Benatia has repeatedly been linked with a move to the Premier League during his career, and it’s certainly not the first time Arsenal have been forced into the mix.

Arsenal have a €40m offer for Benatia, as per the Sky Italia claims, and it’s added that Juventus have flatly rejected the offer. Not only that, the Turin club aren’t interested in trading at all, they don’t want to discuss a business.

That’s led to several other tells in Italy, where it’s felt Arsenal’s €40m is a right quantity.

Calciomercato call it a ‘monster’ bid and say the club have changed their consideration from Daniele Rugani to his Juventus teammate.

ITA Sport Press say Arsenal are ‘ready’ to make the signing with the big offer, ahead of the January transfer window.
