Arsenal have joined the transfer race for Torino’s No.9 Andrea Belotti after sending scouts to last night’s derby in against Juventus.
The Italian international is a target for top Premier League clubs after his insane performance for 2016/17 season, and Arsene Wenger has expressed interest in world-class forward.
Arsenal are keen to sign a striker this summer and are also in for keeping tabs on French forward Alexandre Lacazette who had talk’s about his future last week.
France international forward is Wenger’s number No.1 target, however, insists that he will only move to a club who are participating in the Champions League.
The Gunners Champions League hopes have been miserable despite a 2-0 win over Man Utd, and it is forcing Wenger to look at alternatives.
Premier League leaders Chelsea have reportedly offered around £60million for Italy international forward Andrea Belotti who has a £80million buy-out clause in his current deal with Torino.
Wenger tried to sign Belotti but were told that he wasn’t for sale, but Torino have been conceded that he is set to leave this summer.
Meanwhile, Lacazette’s decision about his future could have an effect on that of Gunners play-maker Alexis Sanchez.
