Bayern Munich in advanced talks with £272,000-a-week Chelsea striker

Bayern Munich are reportedly already working on a transfer deal for the London giants star Timo Werner, with Chelsea open to letting him go. The German striker made the move to Chelsea last summer after impressing at RB Leipzig, but he’s struggled to get going in his time in the PL so far.

Timo played his part in the Blues winning the UCL but has mostly been well below-par and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he made a quick move back to the Bundesliga. Bundesliga giants are interested in signing Timo, with the Bavarians managed by his old RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann.

The report adds that the Blues are open to selling Timo, so this could be a real deal to keep an eye on in the months ahead. The London giants supporters will be disappointed that things didn’t work out with Werner, as the German striker joins a long list of big-name centre-forwards who flopped with the Blues.

Andriy Shevchenko, Fernando Torres, Alvaro Morata, Radamel Falcao and Gonzalo Higuain are others who arrived at Stamford Bridge with great reputations before struggling to show their best form in a Blue shirt.
