Boca Juniors in advanced talks with £210,000-a-week Man United striker

The Edinson Cavani to Boca Juniors continues to pick up steam as the striker wants to land the 33-year-old this summer whose deal expires in June. Boca Juniors has prepared a deal with terms and a salary. The South American club is prepared to offer the Red Devils centre-forward a three-year deal with an annual salary of €4-m.

Suppose this is indeed what the Argentine side is ready to offer Uruguay international. In that case, it will be up to Man United to either match that contract or let Cavani head to his home continent.

Man United can probably match the salary; however, a three-year deal for a 33-year-old who’s already shown that injuries are a reoccurring theme could be too much for the English club to hand out.

Either Man United can convince Cavani to take a shorter term that keeps him with Man United, or Boca Juniors could be saying hello to their new striker.

Furthermore, the report states that the Argentine side has already prepared the contract and the financial engineering to achieve the Red Devils striker’s possible arrival.

Despite Boca Juniors being persistent with its interest in Cavani, the Uruguayan striker met with club chiefs Ed Woodward and John Murtough to convince him to stay for another year.
