Liverpool have launched their new kit for the 2020/21 season, which marks their first with sportswear giants Nike.
The Premier League champions struck a five-year deal with Nike that is reported by the Liverpool Echo to be worth around £30 million-per-year.
The unveiling of the home kit for the new season won’t really come as much of a surprise to Liverpool supporters who have seen photos of it being modelled on social media over the past few days.
This week it appeared on Nike’s website in an apparent mishap before being taken down.
However, the kit first featured on footyheadlines.com as far back as February.
The red shirt features a white and teal design present on the collar and sleeve cuffs which we get the sense will please some supporters but disappoint others.
In our eyes, it’s certainly a kit suitable for champions.
