Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata reportedly wants to depart from the club this summer, with a host of clubs across Europe queuing up to secure his services.
It’s stated by Italian news outlet Tuttosport, as quoted by Calciomercato, that Spanish international is keen to depart from the Stamford Bridge after just a campaign in English football.
Alvaro Morata has struggled for both form and fitness. The Spaniard’s shortcomings in the middle of the season prompted Chelsea FC to sign Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud to provide a further source of goals.
In spite of his underwhelming season, though, it looks like Morata will not be sold for a reduced low price. It is, in fact, stated that both Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich would be ready to splash €70m on a deal to recruit Alvaro Morata.
Juventus have long been connected with a move for their one-time player but it’s thought that financial restrictions would pull them out of a deal for the striker.
It’s claimed by Tuttosport that Alvaro’s preferred destination is Italy, indicating that a switch back to Juventus could be plausible. The Old Lady may simply be not able to meet Chelsea’s demands, along with Alvaro Morata’s in terms of salary.
