Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is reportedly ‘pressing for’ a return to Juventus upcoming summer and the Serie A champions are understood to be keen on bringing Spain international back to Turin.
Morata joined the Blues from Real Madrid previous summer and has gone on to make 95 matches in all competitions, netting and creating 43 goals.
The 25-year-old attacker has struggled for form in the second-half of his first season, netting just two goals since December 2017, and is angling for a transfer away from Stamford Bridge as a result.
With Croatia international Mario Mandzukic being tipped to depart from Juventus this summer, they will have room for a new arrival who at the same time is an old face.
The Frenchman Olivier Giroud joined the Blues from Arsenal in January transfer market and has become systematic in the attack, demoting Alvaro Morata to bench duty.
The Spaniard’s chances of senior-team football are afterwards slim next campaign which is likely why a switch to Juve could go through for the fair price.
This season, in all competitions, Alvaro Morata has made 46 appearances, netted 15 goals and provided 6 assists.
