Chelsea and Man Utd eyeing move for French forward

Premier League rivals Man Utd and Chelsea are reportedly both weighing up a summer move for Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman.

The France international has managed to take part in 18 goals and assists for Bayern Munich in what has been a stunning 2020-21 season.

Bayern are eager to extend Kingsley Coman’s contract beyond the end of 2022-23 when it is currently set to expire, however, the 24-year-old is believed to have turned down their first proposal.

According to German outlet Fussball Transfers, Man Utd and Chelsea are continuing to monitor Coman’s situation at the Allianz Arena and could make move when the transfer window will be re-opened.

It is reported that the former Juventus and PSG ace, who has won league titles in three different countries, favours staying in Bavaria over moving on again.

Coman has played 197 games for Bayern across two spells with the German giants, founding back of the net 39 times mainly from out wide.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Man Utd considering move for another Bayern Munich star David Alaba who has been on his way out from Alianz Arena this season and Premier League thought to be his favoured destination.
