Chelsea have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Real Madrid pacy winger Gareth Bale as, according to the Independent, the Premier League giants Manchester United have pulled out of the hunt to sign the winger.
The Welshman had been connected with a move to Old Trafford, with Gareth having a hard time in Spain with Real Madrid. He has become surplus to needs at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Los Blancos looking at landing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
But the Independent report that The Red Devils now have zero interest in landing Gareth Bale, as the club already paid big to bring in Alexis Sanchez.
Bale moved to Real Madrid after an amazing season with Tottenham in 2013 but has struggled to in every occasion find that form since switching to the Spanish capital.
The Welshman was substituted off at halftime against Juventus on Wednesday, as Los Blancos scraped their way to the Champions League semifinals.
Inter Milan now look to be in pole position for Bale, a team that the Wales international should know well after scoring a hat-trick versus them with Spurs in 2010/11, but The Blues will still hope to get a deal done if the forward becomes obtainable.
