Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are both being linked with huge-money moves to secure the signature Serie A side AC Milan box-to-box midfielder Franck Kessie, the recent reports say.
According to reports in the Italian press, the London-based duo are keen to sign the powerful midfielder but have been informed that they will need to pay his €40 million release (buy-out/exit) clause in full.
Franck is also believed to be a target for a number of Chinese Super League clubs.
Chelsea have been aware of his talents for some time and were in for the star when it became clear he would be leaving Italian club Atalanta earlier in his professional career, however, the player would go on to join AC Milan.
Reports claimed that Antonio Conte was very interested in the idea of bringing the player to the Premier League throughout his time in charge of the Blues.
Since signing for the San Siro outfit, Kessie has endured a mixed time in Serie A, with the midfielder yet to truly realise his full potential.
Franck himself is believed to be open to a transfer away from the club and at the age of 22, his best years are surely ahead of him.
