Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has reportedly emerged as a surprise target for Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window, while Manchester United have also been credited with an interest.
The 25-year-old French midfielder has featured on 72 occasions since departing from Ligue 1 champiuons Paris Saint-Germain for Turin on a free transfer back in 2019.
However, at a time when Serie A defending champions want to reduce their wage bill, the Frenchman has frequently been rumoured with an exit from the Serie A outfit and Premier League thought to be his favoured destination.
According to Tuttomercato, Thomas Touchel could look to take advantage of the situation by launching a bid for the 25-year-old player.
Despite being well-stocked for options in central midfield, Thomas Tuchel may look to make changes to his team during the summer.
Manchester United are in the market for a replacement for Nemanja Matic and Rabiot could be a perfect alternative, while Paul Pogba’s future also remains up in the air.
The report adds that Everton boss Carlo Ancelloti also has been a huge admirer of French midfielder and are in the running for Rabiot,
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Man Utd also keeping tabs on another Juventus midfielder, Paulo Dybala whose future in Turin remains up in the air.
