Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with Brazilian centre-back Thiago Silva over a new deal.
The Brazil international has played a huge impact at Stamford Bridge since joining on a free transfer next summer.
The 36-year-old signed a one-year deal with the West London club and according to Tuttomercato, the club are now eager to extend his team.
Chelsea are believed to have offered the experienced defender a further one-year extension, taking his contract through to the end of the 2021-22 season.
