Dusan Vlahovic could leave Juventus in winter. And Chelsea are keen on securing the services of the Serbian striker. The London giants have been in touch with Vlahovic’s agent along with a host of other European teams, with Arsenal also establishing contact with him.
Dusan joined the Bianconeri after impressing with Fiorentina. But things have not gone according to plan for him at the Old Lady. Serbia international joined Juventus in January 2022, and he has not been able to hit top form with them so far.
Although his numbers are far from poor, the Bianconeri would have expected a lot more from him when they decided to splash the cash on the 22-year-old centre-forward. The Serbian has nine goals and three assists across all tournaments for club and country this campaign.
The Blues are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements, and Dusan has emerged as a viable target. Chelsea have several attacking footballers, but none of them have been in good form this campaign. While the likes of Ziyech and Pulisic have been linked with moves away from Chelsea, Sterling and Havertz have been largely underwhelming.
The Old Lady are open to letting Vlahovic leave in 2023. The Blues certainly have the finances to tempt the Bianconeri to sell Dusan, and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few weeks.
