Juventus Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain has reportedly agreed to join Chelsea this transfer market, according to reports in Italy.
The Italian website Calcio Mercato reports that the forward has accepted that he will depart from Juventus following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The report states that the striker has told his brother Nicolas, who is also his representative, that he is ready to for summer move to the Blues after agreeing to personal terms.
A deal is far from finalising with Higuain interested to ensure his deal would match that of his the Old Lady contract.
Bianconeri are reportedly demanding for €55 million for the striker this transfer market, with Chelsea the only club believed to be in the running.
The striker worked with Italian tactician Maurizio Sarri, who is expected to take over at Chelsea imminently, at Napoli and the pair have a strong relationship.
Should Gonzalo join Chelsea this summer, his arrival is possible to cast an end to Spanish star Alvaro Morata’s time at the west London club with a move back to Serie A looking likely.
