Chelsea keen to set to break in their offer to sign Leon Bailey in the January transfer window, as per the British media.
The Evening Standard is stating that a trasnsfer for the Blues to sign the 20-year-old is looking more doubtful for the west London side.
The same article states that Chelsea are keen to try and add at least two more footballers to their team in the January transfer window as Antonio Conte seems to prepare his team for a decisive second half of the term.
The story claims that Chelsea have been having prices on Bailey’s development at Bayer Leverkusen in recent terms.
However, it is now being reported that Bayer Leverkusen are not inclined to listen to bids for the attacker in the January transfer window, news that has reduced the Blues’ hopes of landing him in the new year.
The same report says that Chelsea were expecting to be victorious with a bid of around £20m for the attacking winger, but it now looks that they are risking a brush in trying to get the German club to sell their prized asset
Meanwhile, Chelsea are currently planning for their Premier League match against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime.
