Premier League side Bournemouth are set to turn down any offers from Chelsea for star forward Callum Wilson this month, recent reports say.
According to the British tabloid newspaper The Daily Mirror, via The BBC, the Cherries will not be entertaining any offers for Wilson as they look to keep hold of their top asset.
Chelsea have been heavily connected with a swoop for Wilson as they look to replace Spain international Alvaro Morata, who is reportedly on the brink of a move to La Liga side Sevilla.
Wilson has been in stunning form for Bournemouth this campaign, with nine goals and five assists in England’s top division for Eddie Howe’s side.
The report states that Bournemouth will reject all efforts to lure him away from the South Coast, which means Blues may have to wait until the summer to seal a deal for the England international.
Maurizio Sarri is also thought to be keen on Italian outfit AC Milan forward Gonzalo Higuain and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, as Chelsea look to add goals to their side.
