Manchester United’s opportunities of signing Kylian Mbappe in the summer have now hit a stumbling block, with the teenager turned off by the club’s lack of attacking style.
The striker has been a sensation for Monaco this year, scoring five European goals in just eight matches, while also scoring 14 in 25 league games as the Champions League semi-finalists lead the French top flight.
However, with a host of Europe’s top sides tracking the 18-year-old, Jose Mourinho is set to be rejected by the forward who has doubts over the Red Devils’ style of football as reported by to French newspaper L’Equipe.
Also, the development of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in the last couple of seasons at the Red Devils, who perform in a similar role to Mbappe, are also of concerns to the France international.
Mbappe has refused to hold discussions with any club until the end of the season, but Madrid are likely to launch a summer swoop.
The Stories suggested that the striker had already agreed to join the Spanish league leaders in a deal worth £96million, however, this is a claim that has already been rejected by both sides.
Man Itd wouldn’t be the first Premier League club Mbappe would turn down, with Arsene Wenger admitting he tried to bring the teenager to Arsenal.
The under-pressure Gunners manager visited him last summer, only for the Monaco teenager to commit his future to his current club.
