Arsenal and fellow Premier League side Chelsea target Denis Suarez is holding out for a transfer to the Gunners and has rejected the opportunity to join West Ham United, according to the latest reports.
The Mirror reports that Denis is keen on a move to North London, specifically to join his compatriot Unai Emery’s side. Suarez is being strongly linked with a move to England’s top division and several clubs believed to be keen.
The Gunners bitter rivals Chelsea, Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United and Marco Silva’s Everton have all been touted with an interest, but Arsenal have been leading the hunt to offer the player a route out of the Camp Nou.
After returning to La Liga, Suarez has been not able to break into the Catalan giants, Barcelona team on a regular basis. Unai Emery has worked with the player throughout his time at Sevilla and is believed to be a big admirer.
Italian manager Maurizio Sarri was equally interested in signing the Spaniard, but it appears that the Blues have turned their attention to alternative transfer targets.
