The Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers have made an offer for Arsenal-linked defender Rogerio, according to football news Italian website Tuttomercaotweb.com.
The full-back has been tipped with a switch to the Emirates as part of an effort to bolster a rather porous Gunners defensive line, but it looks like as though another Premier League outfit has made the first move in the hunt for the 20-year-old.
Owned by Serie A champions Juventus, the Brazilian star is currently on loan at Sassuolo and caught the eye from numerous European sides with brilliant displays. He has made 18 matches in all competitions so far this campaign.
In spite of not being represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, it is thought that the Portuguese entourage enjoys a good enough relationship with the star that he can convince Rogerio to follow numerous of his clients to Molineux.
Another EPL club Newcastle United are also said to be expressing an interest in the Brazil Under-20 international, who could transition into the potential replacement to Alex Sandro for both country and club – should Juventus decide to keep him.
