EPL rivals show interest in promising young forward also linked with Liverpool

Manchester United are prepared to battle-it-out with Chelsea and Liverpool over a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic, according to reports.

Christian has developed in to one of the most exciting prospects in European football since joining die Borussen from PA Classics in 2015.

But his long-term future at the German club is in serious doubt as his current contract is up in 2020 and Pulisic’s showing no sign of committing himself to the club any time soon.

The 20-year-old ace’s situation has alerted a host of clubs and the Metro are quoting a report from Sport Bild that claims Manchester United have now joined EPL rivals Liverpool and Chelsea in the race to land Pulisic ahead of next summer.

Pulisic fuelled talk that he could be heading to Premier League soon after admitting the previous month that he wants to play in the English top flight.

He’s cited as saying by the Metro: “England, the Premier League, is a league where lots of kids dream of playing so there is no reason why maybe one day I won’t play here.”
